Virat Kohli and his team are now in the UAE, preparing to take part in IPL. Before the event begins, RCB is busy practising. In their first net session, Virat took part and said it was scary for him.
“I was scared to take up the bat after a long gap of five months. But it came out to be better than I expected,” Virat later told the official website of RCB.
“I’ve trained during the lockdown which is helping now. I think I am quite fit to react better. The body is light and it feels really good,” the highest-runs getter of RCB in the last IPL, Virat, further added.
The RCB reached the UAE last week to take part in IPL. BCCI has decided to shift the venues of IPL to the UAE due to the bad Covid-19 situation in India.
The RCB is always a big team in IPL, but they are yet to win a title despite playing the final thrice. Their most-recent final appearance came in 2016.
