In reply to Bangladesh’s 144, Netherlands lost three early wickets, with two in the first over bowled by Taskin Ahmed, and two fell to run-outs.
The Netherlands won the toss and opted to bowl first. Bangladesh posted 144 for eight.
Taskin’s pace looked good for the Netherlands batters.
In the fourth over, Shakib Al Hasan came to bowl. Max ODowd hit him for a six off the first ball he bowled. But in the next ball, Max ODowd was trapped in run-out. In the same over, Bangladesh sent back Netherlands captain Tom Cooper as well.

Tom suffered a diamond duck — he didn't get a single ball to play before getting run-out.
Najmul Hossain Shanto saved a boundary in a great fashion and threw the ball to the wicketkeeper Nurul Hasan who broke the stump in a flash. And thus, Tom suffered the duck.
At the end of four overs, Netherlands were batting at 17 for four.
