T20 World Cup: Bangladesh strike early, Netherlands lose 4 quick wickets
In reply to Bangladesh’s 144, Netherlands lost three early wickets, with two in the first over bowled by Taskin Ahmed, and two fell to run-outs.
The Netherlands won the toss and opted to bowl first. Bangladesh posted 144 for eight.
Taskin’s pace looked good for the Netherlands batters.
In the fourth over, Shakib Al Hasan came to bowl. Max ODowd hit him for a six off the first ball he bowled. But in the next ball, Max ODowd was trapped in run-out. In the same over, Bangladesh sent back Netherlands captain Tom Cooper as well.

Tom suffered a diamond duck — he didn't get a single ball to play before getting run-out.
Najmul Hossain Shanto saved a boundary in a great fashion and threw the ball to the wicketkeeper Nurul Hasan who broke the stump in a flash. And thus, Tom suffered the duck.
At the end of four overs, Netherlands were batting at 17 for four.

Quick wickets jolt Pakistan in first T20I
In reply to Bangladesh’s 127, Pakistan lost four early wickets inside 10 overs scoring 40 runs in the first T20I of the three-match series on Friday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
In the last 10 overs, Pakistan needed 88 runs with six wickets in hand.
Mahedi Hasan, Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman bagged one wicket each while Nurul Hasan trapped one run out.

Mohammad Rizwan was the first player to get dismissed. His stumps were shattered by a wonderful delivery from Mustafizur.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam was the second wicket to fall, and he was haunted by Taskin. It was a good length delivery from the pacer, and Babar tried to clear through the off side region but only managed an edge to the stumps.
Mahedi bagged the third wicket removing Haider Ali for a duck, and right after his dismissal, Nurul sent Shoaib Malik back to the dressing room for a duck as well.
Earlier, Bangladesh posted 127 for seven in 20 overs, with Afif Hossain posting the highest of 36 off 34 balls, and Mahedi added 30.

Hassan bagged three wickets for Pakistan conceding 22 runs in four overs.

Quick wickets put Bangladesh under pressure
In the first ODI of the three-match series against Sri Lanka on Sunday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh lost four wickets within 100 runs with two wickets in consecutive two deliveries off Dhananjaya de Silva.
Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first with Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman made a comeback to the national fold after missing out on the two-match Test series against the same opponent.
Liton Das was the first batsman to get dismissed in the second over of the game for a duck. Dushmantha Chameera delivered a full-length ball outside off, and Liton tried to drive to the cover without any foot movement. He just prodded the ball of the slip cordon.

Shakib, who returned after missing out on two tours to New Zealand and Sri Lanka, fell for 15 to Danushka Gunathilaka. He came out down the wicket and mistimed a slower off the bowler. Shakib never looked comfortable in the middle in his 34-ball stay.
During the 23rd over, Dhananjaya removed Tamim Iqbal and Mohammad Mithun off two consecutive deliveries. Tamim moved from his regular stance and came back before the ball was delivered, which has hit his boot and he was given lbw. In the next ball, Mithun tried a lap sweep off the first ball in the wicket and missed. He was also given lbw.
Tamim fell for 52, and along the way, he completed 14 thousand international runs as the first Bangladeshi batsman. He now amassed 14025 runs in 356 matches across the formats.
