After all the noises made by the past flagship smartphone OnePlus 8t, the celebrated company has added new members to the series. They are OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9 R. As per their claim, the latest pieces are better than the previous ones from every possible aspect. The official promotional videos promise better design and higher efficacy. Furthermore, there is another news that has created a hype of different dimensions. That is the first time collaboration of the world-famous camera manufacturing company Hasselblad with a smartphone company. This OnePlus 9 Smartphone Review with Price in Bangladesh will debunk the mystery- whether this phone matches the hype is real or not.
Key Features of OnePlus 9 Smartphone
Design
After the release of the phone, the first thing that comes to notice is the design resemblance of the phone with its predecessor OnePlus 8T. Especially the front looks of both models are completely identical. Like they both share the exact flat display along with a punch-hole front camera at the upper left corner. Such similarity in appearance can make anybody mistake one model for another.
Among the major differences between these two phones, the camera and the mainframe are major. The camera module on the back of the OnePlus 9 is redesigned. It brings a little more delicacy in its look. Surely, it's an upgrade. However, when it comes to the mainframe, the same can't be said. The past flagship model was coated with an aluminum frame. On the contrary, the OnePlus 9 uses a fiber-backed plastic frame. It helps the phone to be lighter and slimmer.
Like 8T and sibling 9 Pro, its alert-slider, and other buttons give smooth tactile feedback. A Type-C USB port, a tray for dual-SIM, and a speaker will be found at the bottom of the phone.
The main display, identical to the 8T's, is 6.55" AMOLED. It's efficient enough to provide a full-HD+ resolution supporting a 120HZ refresh rate. The display also rooms an efficient fingerprint sensor.
The back of the phone is a lookalike of the 9 Pro, except 9 Pro has some extra sensors there, with a straight camera bump and OnePlus' iconic logo.

Cameras
The partnership built between Hasselblad and OnePlus has been on talk from the first announcement. As per the smartphone company's promise, with Hasselblad's collaboration, their cameras now can capture more naturally calibrated pictures.
Through this partnership had raised phenomenal hype at first, most users now mark it as an exaggeration. The Hasselblad collaboration has brought a few UI and design changes. But none of them is significant.
Accuses are still rising about the image processing system of the phone. It tends to over-sharpen even normal edges and over-smooth details. However, the main camera is an IMX766 with an ultrawide 50 MP resolution. The additional freedom lens keeps distortions in check. Therefore, the sensor works better for close objects.
Another 48 MP wide-angle camera follows the same directives. However, the incorporation of the 2MP monochrome auxiliary sensor might not feel worth it. Because there are only one or two less used filters that employ this sensor.

Performance and Software
The OnePlus 9 has a robust Snapdragon 888 processor. Depending on the variant, the processor is backed by 8 GB or 12 GB RAM. This is the key feature that makes the phone desirable. Because no other phones with this same capability are available at this price.
The super-strong processor makes any app load quickly. Minimizing and switching one app from another gives a seamless impression. When criticized for all other features, the OnePlus 9 shines in its performance.
Suited to be a 2021 flagship, the smartphone supports 5G. The Sub-6Hz frequencies used in this phone is widely popular but is not certified for ultra-fast mmWave. Other implemented software hasn't instigated any questions yet. They please users' expectations and praised for their speed and efficiency.

Battery and Charging
While the phone has a battery with only a 4500 mAh power capacity, the company claims to provide sustainable coverage. A single-day coverage is expectable with a single charge and moderate use.
Where the OnePlus 9 takes the most credit is it requires less time to get 100% charged. According to some tests, the phone takes only 29 minutes to get from 0% to 100% charged. The charging support it comes with is 65W, and it's provenly better than that of other competitors.

Final Verdict
Implementation of the powerful snapdragon processor along with the latest Android 11 has boosted the performance and versatility of the phone. All other features like display, speaker, charging, and connectivity are also up to the mark. For generations, OnePlus phones have carried a key weakness in their cameras. To some extent, the OnePlus 9 has overcome the issue, too. However, it's still not recommended for those who want detailed and pixel-perfect accuracy in cameras for professional works.
OnePlus 9 will be the best suit for those who emphasize performance in a smartphone. Most OnePlus 9 Smartphone Reviews given by users agree with this verdict.
