Best and Worst Android OS Considering Bloatware in 2024
Ever wondered how many push notifications you get in a day? It’s alright when it's from essential apps like messages, emails, and others. But what about unnecessary first-party apps or “bloatware”? They take up your essential space and constantly buzz off with ads that are both distracting and disturbing. Unfortunately, most Android OS today uses some form of bloatware. We’ve ranked the best and worst in terms of bloatware experience in 2024. Check it out.
What is Bloatware?
Bloatware refers to pre-installed apps on your device that are typically unnecessary. It can include trial versions of software, manufacturer-specific applications, promotional apps, or redundant utilities.
Bloatware apps are almost always first-party apps developed by the manufacturer to provide a “customized” experience for the user. More often than not, this bloatware takes up storage space, consumes system resources (such as RAM and CPU cycles), and may even impact system performance or battery life.
It’s not like that brands aren’t aware of the issues. However, the persistent inclusion of bloatware is due to the ecosystem integration as well as third-party collaboration.

Defining Android OS Experiences Concerning Bloatware
We already mentioned that most OS out there have some form of bloatware included in the setup process. These bloatware apps can be removed after the first boot. The best metric to rate Android OS in this regard would be to consider the following:
- The number of bloatware apps on the OS
- Whether the OS asks for permission to install bloatware while setting up the phone
- Whether the bloatware can be uninstalled after setup or at any given time
Here’s what we think is the best and worst OS based on the above indicators.

Xiaomi Civi Review: Does it offer value for money?
Xiaomi just unveiled the Xiaomi Civi, a smartphone, unlike anything they've ever launched. Although this phone is marketed for women, a man can be quite intrigued by it. The phone was released on 21st September. This article will share a thorough observation of the Xiaomi Civi.
Key Features of Xiaomi Civi
Design
At first glance at the Xiaomi Civi box, it's unexpected that the phone does not have a charger, but happily, Xiaomi is still offering consumers two options: environmental support or self-viewing.
Additionally, this box fits Xiaomi Civi's idea of a thin and light body, which gives the impression of being thin and light from the outside to the inside.
Read NOKIA 8V 5G UW Review: 60K worth Phone is now available at 20K
Along with the phone body and data cord, the packaging includes a Type-C To Audio adaptor cable; given that the phone lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, this becomes quite useful.
From the first day of PR warm-up, the keywords should be beauty, selfie, and good-looking, implying that in addition to the phone itself is attractive, the goal is to provide customers with a pleasant experience, namely, selfie.
The material used for the phone's rear cover is also critical to the phone's appearance. The phone received the model called "flash black" using the velvet AG process, which is uniquely the first time Xiaomi has adopted new technology. Compared to the conventional AG process, the velvet AG process maintains the AG process's skin-friendly smooth feel, resulting in a crystal-shiny visual sense that not only looks good but also feels like skin gel.

Display
When comparing the official specifications of the Civi's screen, a little difference between it and the XIAOMI 11 Lite 5G NE may be observed. The refresh rate of the Civi has been increased to 120Hz, and the max brightness has been increased somewhat as well. However, after a week of usage, the difference in screen size between the two is extremely noticeable.
For instance, when a device transitions from a straight to a curved screen, the bezels get reduced. The bottom bezel, in particular, is thinner than that of Xiaomi's own flagship phone, the Mi 11 Ultra. Additionally, it utilizes an under-screen fingerprint scanner rather than a side fingerprint scanner.
The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE's screen is made up of RGB Delta Pixels, which resulted in a very low level of screen clarity, which was corrected on the Civi. After switching the screen provider to Diamond-like pixels, the clarity is the same as that of Samsung's screen.
Read Redmi Note 11 Review: Does it deserve your attention?
The issue with rainbow lines on the screen, on the other hand, is a little more problematic than with earlier phones. In general, the Xiaomi Civi's screen is superior to that of the XIAOMI 11 Lite 5G NE.
Rear Cameras
The three-camera lens combination at the rear consists of a 64MP main lens with a 1/1.97′′ sensor and a 6P lens with a 24mm focal length equivalent; a super wide-angle lens of 8MP with a FOV of 120° and a 5P lens with a focal length of 16mm equivalent; and finally, a 2MP macro lens with a 4cm focus distance.
When the subject's clarity and the degree of automatic background defocusing are combined perfectly, there will be no edge on the blurred processing, for the primary photography of thin and high-value phones is to examine the lens configuration parameters, but after the shutter is pressed, the real app begins.

Front Camera
For a phone that is primarily focused on selfie beauty and is perhaps the most expensive Xiaomi has ever created, we have finally given you its selfie performance on the positive film without further ado.
The impact of beauty is something that the author, as a straight man, naturally knows very little about, but picking up Civi open selfie to view the photo of the girl, that sensation of delight is no less than the jackpot, genuine females for whom the search of beauty is a lifetime goal.
In the early days of cell phone selfies, the pores were directly given to you to grind the kind of white, it appears as if there is no blood white, but these years, the rear phone lens has advanced, the front lens has not stopped, Xiaomi Civi front selfie has 32MP HD pixels and dual soft light, plus AF autofocus. Additionally, the photographs will seem more natural, resembling artificial makeup rather than random machine peeling.

Performance and Software
Since then, the Snapdragon 778G has been released, and an increasing number of manufacturers are using it. Although it is a Qualcomm 7 series mid-range chip, the end price of products equipped with it is quite high, ranging from more than a thousand to more than three thousand dollars, which makes it somewhat "alien".
The Snapdragon 778G is built on TSMC's 6nm technology and has the eight-core Kryo 670 architecture. It features a maximum primary frequency of 2.4GHz and a claimed performance boost of more than 40% over the previous generation. The GPU is an Adreno 642L, which provides a performance boost of more than 40%.

Battery and Charging
This time around, the Xiaomi Civi's box is similarly unassuming; it lacks both a charger and a charging wire. Naturally, if Xiaomi's charger is not included, it will arrive with a different charger. Similarly to the charger that comes with it, the phone supports up to 55w of charging power. It takes ten minutes to charge to 27%, half an hour to reach 77%, and 45 minutes to reach 100%.
Price of Xiaomi Civi in Bangladesh
Xiaomi has announced that the phone will be only released in China, and the global users won't get a taste of it. It is available at the price of BDT 34999 in China. Here, 1 CNY = 13.47 BDT.
Conclusion
The female mobile phone market is quite barren; there are items for fans, but the author is not a fan of a particular celebrity and is just wanting to get a good-looking thin and light performing phone.

It is born from the world's first 100-million-pixel CC, but fully free of the CC's shadow; its look is the crystallization of Xiaomi's female market research; males may have a range of views, but females will understand Xiaomi Civi's charm.

A 12MP ultra-wide lens with a 114-degree field of view and a 48MP telephoto camera with 4x optical zoom round out the line-up, both of which performed admirably in our testing though not quite as well as the top competitors.
However, the Pixel 6 Pro comes with features that you won't find on competing phones, such as a Magic Eraser that can eliminate undesired elements from images, Motion mode for Real Tone and long exposure shots, which perfectly captures the skin tones of people of colour more precisely.

The Oppo Reno 6 Pro smartphone is one of its class's slimmest and lightest smartphones, with an attractive design to match. It has a 6.5-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen, HDR10+, and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. Additionally, the display is well-spec'd.
The new MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC is one of the most significant updates to the Oppo Reno 6 Pro. Additionally, the games performed flawlessly. Despite its tiny profile, the phone's back never became too heated, even after long gaming sessions.

OnePlus 9 Pro
It contains a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP telephoto, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP monochrome sensor for enhancing black and white images. The ultra-wide is perhaps the most noticeable of them, as it features a free-form lens design that eliminates the 'barrel' distortion that can be seen at the borders of ultra-wide images produced on other phones.
The OnePlus 9 Pro's cameras were developed in partnership with Hasselblad, albeit the collaboration was primarily limited to color calibration and the design of the camera app.
The phone is unofficially available in Bangladesh, and it costs around BDT 65,000.

The Realme 8s 5G has a triple camera arrangement that includes a 64-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel black-and-white portrait camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The camera's low-light performance was acceptable, while Night mode improved the output.
The phone is officially priced at BDT 24,990.

Samsung Galaxy A72 Full Review: Is it worth buying?
Samsung has added another high-performance smartphone to its Galaxy A series. The series has already become known worldwide for presenting some top-end smartphones to users. The added latest model is A72. It has, like all other phones of the series, stimulated people’s attention. On its surface, the phone is a combination of a selected few Galaxy phones like A52, A71, and several others from the Galaxy S series. However, the endeavour becomes praiseworthy because of the Galaxy A72’s comparatively low price. Keep on reading this Samsung Galaxy A72 review, if you are curious about a smartphone and want to know is it really worth it for its price.
Key Features of Samsung Galaxy A72
Design
Among all the other features of A72, its design has made it stand out from mainstay glass and metal tradition. The Samsung Galaxy A72 features attractive candy-like colour schemes. In addition, the phone shows delicacy in detailed finishing. It will be a delight to hold the phone in hand.
The A72 is made of polycarbonate, while the mid-frame is metal. Just like the A52. The back of the phone is plastic made. But the matte textured back can hide this fact giving a metal look. The only reason for Samsung to use a plastic body is to check for any further weight gain. Because with even the plastic body, A72 weights 203g.
The candy-light colour brings a fresh feel to the overall look of the phone. The camera bump on the back has verisimilitude with the ones from Galaxy S21 series. However, the bump is not too steep and don’t look unnatural. The cameral holding rings are well furnished and give a somewhat visual flair. The pastel paint colour work gives an artistic tone.
The power, as well as the volume buttons, are placed on the right side of the phone, the sim tray is on top of the phone, while the primary speaker, as well as a 3.5 mm jack, are at the bottom-placed on either side of a type-C USB port.
Read OnePlus 9 Smartphone Review with Price in Bangladesh
Display
Like its peer A52, A72 has a 6.7-inch display. It is a full HD with a resolution of 2400×1800 and 800 nits of brightness. When it comes to customizability, the phone gives only two options. Users can choose from Natural or Vivid colour modes. They can also tweak the white balance.
The newly implemented 90HZ AMOLED display is arguably the biggest change made by Samsung this year. With such a higher refresh rate, manoeuvring feels smooth on the phone.

Camera
Just like the Galaxy A52, the Samsung Galaxy A72 has four rear cameras and one secondary camera on the front. The four rear cameras include a primary camera of 64MP, an ultrawide 12MP angle 12MP camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera along with a 5MP macro camera. The secondary front camera is 32 MP. A72 just replaces the 5MP telephoto camera of A52.
The camera performance of the Samsung Galaxy A72 is much like those of the Galaxy 52. It comes with enabled OIS, which satisfies the snapping experience. Both phones deliver similar results, though. In daylight, the phone takes less time to focus. Even in indoor condition, all cameras show quick response. The credit goes to the OIS feature. The colour restoration is more accurate in daylight and other places with good lighting condition.
Read realme C25 review- A high-performing phone with TUV certification
Performance
Galaxy A72 incorporates Snapdragon 720G. This version of the Snapdragon comprises 2 Kryo 465 Gold cores. The maximum clock speed of these processors is 2.3 GHz. The other 6 Kryo 465 silver cores have up to 1.8GHz clock speed.
To process the graphics, A72 uses the Adreno 618 GUI. Many features are common with the A52 features. But higher Ram and Storage capacities, Samsung Galaxy A72 perform better. The phone introduces two variants. One is of 6GB RAM with 128GB memory, and of 8GB RAM with 256GB ROM.
Samsung Galaxy A72 is i67 qualified. That means the phone is completely water and dust protected.
Read OPPO F19 Pro Review with Price in Bangladesh
Battery and Charging
Galaxy A72 comes with a 5000 mAh battery, which is definitely an upgrade from its sibling A52, which has a 4,500 mAh battery. But they both show similar endurance lasting over a day and a half with mild to heavy use. It should be the A72’s 0.2” larger screen that is making the difference.
If considered without drawing any line or comparison, the battery performance won’t let anybody down. Regular users are already praising the battery life offered. Another mentionable aspect is the phone has a 90Hz refresh rate. It lets users enjoy all the best features without worrying about battery life.
The charger is 25W and takes around one and a half hour to charge the phone from 0 to 100%.

OnePlus 9 Smartphone Review with Price in Bangladesh
After all the noises made by the past flagship smartphone OnePlus 8t, the celebrated company has added new members to the series. They are OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9 R. As per their claim, the latest pieces are better than the previous ones from every possible aspect. The official promotional videos promise better design and higher efficacy. Furthermore, there is another news that has created a hype of different dimensions. That is the first time collaboration of the world-famous camera manufacturing company Hasselblad with a smartphone company. This OnePlus 9 Smartphone Review with Price in Bangladesh will debunk the mystery- whether this phone matches the hype is real or not.
Key Features of OnePlus 9 Smartphone
Design
After the release of the phone, the first thing that comes to notice is the design resemblance of the phone with its predecessor OnePlus 8T. Especially the front looks of both models are completely identical. Like they both share the exact flat display along with a punch-hole front camera at the upper left corner. Such similarity in appearance can make anybody mistake one model for another.
Among the major differences between these two phones, the camera and the mainframe are major. The camera module on the back of the OnePlus 9 is redesigned. It brings a little more delicacy in its look. Surely, it's an upgrade. However, when it comes to the mainframe, the same can't be said. The past flagship model was coated with an aluminum frame. On the contrary, the OnePlus 9 uses a fiber-backed plastic frame. It helps the phone to be lighter and slimmer.
Like 8T and sibling 9 Pro, its alert-slider, and other buttons give smooth tactile feedback. A Type-C USB port, a tray for dual-SIM, and a speaker will be found at the bottom of the phone.
The main display, identical to the 8T's, is 6.55" AMOLED. It's efficient enough to provide a full-HD+ resolution supporting a 120HZ refresh rate. The display also rooms an efficient fingerprint sensor.
The back of the phone is a lookalike of the 9 Pro, except 9 Pro has some extra sensors there, with a straight camera bump and OnePlus' iconic logo.

Cameras
The partnership built between Hasselblad and OnePlus has been on talk from the first announcement. As per the smartphone company's promise, with Hasselblad's collaboration, their cameras now can capture more naturally calibrated pictures.
Through this partnership had raised phenomenal hype at first, most users now mark it as an exaggeration. The Hasselblad collaboration has brought a few UI and design changes. But none of them is significant.
Accuses are still rising about the image processing system of the phone. It tends to over-sharpen even normal edges and over-smooth details. However, the main camera is an IMX766 with an ultrawide 50 MP resolution. The additional freedom lens keeps distortions in check. Therefore, the sensor works better for close objects.
Another 48 MP wide-angle camera follows the same directives. However, the incorporation of the 2MP monochrome auxiliary sensor might not feel worth it. Because there are only one or two less used filters that employ this sensor.

Performance and Software
The OnePlus 9 has a robust Snapdragon 888 processor. Depending on the variant, the processor is backed by 8 GB or 12 GB RAM. This is the key feature that makes the phone desirable. Because no other phones with this same capability are available at this price.
The super-strong processor makes any app load quickly. Minimizing and switching one app from another gives a seamless impression. When criticized for all other features, the OnePlus 9 shines in its performance.
Suited to be a 2021 flagship, the smartphone supports 5G. The Sub-6Hz frequencies used in this phone is widely popular but is not certified for ultra-fast mmWave. Other implemented software hasn't instigated any questions yet. They please users' expectations and praised for their speed and efficiency.

Battery and Charging
While the phone has a battery with only a 4500 mAh power capacity, the company claims to provide sustainable coverage. A single-day coverage is expectable with a single charge and moderate use.
Where the OnePlus 9 takes the most credit is it requires less time to get 100% charged. According to some tests, the phone takes only 29 minutes to get from 0% to 100% charged. The charging support it comes with is 65W, and it's provenly better than that of other competitors.

OnePlus 9 Smartphone Price in Bangladesh
Apart from the plastic-made mainframe, every other feature is satisfactory for a high-priced priced phone like it. The 8GB+128GB variant is available at BDT 75,000, and the 12GB+256GB variant is available at BDT 85,000.
Final Verdict
Implementation of the powerful snapdragon processor along with the latest Android 11 has boosted the performance and versatility of the phone. All other features like display, speaker, charging, and connectivity are also up to the mark. For generations, OnePlus phones have carried a key weakness in their cameras. To some extent, the OnePlus 9 has overcome the issue, too. However, it's still not recommended for those who want detailed and pixel-perfect accuracy in cameras for professional works.
OnePlus 9 will be the best suit for those who emphasize performance in a smartphone. Most OnePlus 9 Smartphone Reviews given by users agree with this verdict.
