Redmi 9 is blessed with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel display, which is a major improvement from its ancestor Redmi 8.  Owning a full HD Plus display, Redmi 9 has entered a head to head competition with the Realme 6i. By virtue of Superior display, Redmi 9 has out won many pricier competitors.

Though budget-level smartphones usually come with a compromised display due to cost-cutting issues, the bright display of Redmi 9 has overturned this trend. Xiaomi deserves to applaud for providing 1080x2340 Pixels resolution with 19:5:9 ratios, 395PPI density, and 400 nit brightness. You will get great brightness, visibility, and color contrast in daylight. Furthermore, its ‘Eye Protection’ feature is a bonus for the young generation who spent long hours in gaming or web browsing.

Compared with Redmi 8, the latest 9 version bears thinner bezels with ~83.2% screen-to-body ratios. But on the bottom side, the bezels are a bit thicker. Camera Line Up

Redmi 9 offers four rear cameras. The 13MP primary rear camera (f/2.2 aperture, 28mm wide) can take decent photos with nice detailing, and color contrast in broad daylight. However, the dynamic range may not impress you. The secondary 8MP (@f/2.2 aperture) wide-angle lens is capable of shooting at a 118-degree field of view preserving sharpness and color quality in ample light conditions.

Its 2MP Depth sensor can take nice portraits with correct edges with a bit of imposed smoothness. 5MP Macro lens is a great addition, which you can hardly find in the similarly priced competitors. In low light, the pictures may lose some detailing, but you can take good photos using night mode, super slow motion, time-lapse, and many more exciting features. The overall picture quality is pretty nice considering the price range.

In Redmi 9, Xiaomi has provided the 8 MP, f/2.0 front camera, which we have also seen in the ancestor 8 version. Though the front shooter takes smooth portraits, the sharpness is not compromised. Apply the night mode to capture better selfies in low light situations.

This Smartphone is provided with GPU Mali-G52 MC2 which would facilitate running PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, and other games in high settings.
