Two construction workers died after inhaling toxic gas of a septic tank at Gongarhat Bazar in Phulbari upazila on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Al Amin, 25 and Sujon, 32.
The incident took place at the house of one Abdul Awal in the morning.
Al Amin first entered the septic tank in the morning.
Getting no response from Al Amin, Sujon also entered there and fell unconscious, said sources at local fire service.
On information, a firefighting unit went to the spot and rescued them in unconscious condition.
Later, they were taken to Phulbari Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared them dead.
