Kurigram, Oct 15 (UNB) – Police arrested 31 people in separate drives and recovered 3,215 Yaba pills from Monday midnight till Tuesday morning.
Mohammad Mohibul Islam Khan, Superintendent of Kurigram Police, said 12 of those are warranted accused.
He said the government has taken zero tolerance policy against drug abuse and general people should come forward so that the district couldn’t be used as route of drug smuggling.
