Couple’s throat-silt bodies recovered from Chuadanga


Police recovered the throat silt bodies of a couple from Gobindopur village in Damurhuda upazila on Sunday evening.

The deceased were identified as Year Ali, 50 and his wife Rozina Khatun.

Abdul Khalek, officer-in-charge of Damurhuda Police Station, said getting no response from the couple for a long time, neighbours peeped through a window of their house only to see their bodies lying on the floor.

On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those of Chuadanga Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

Police suspected that the couple was murdered sometime at night.
