A court on Tuesday directed to interrogate cartoonist Kabir Kishore and three others for two days at jail gate in a case filed under the Digital Security Act over their anti-government posts on Facebook.
A virtual court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Jashim passed the order after rejecting seven-day remand prayers for each of them filed by the investigation officer.
The three others are- Dhaka Stock Exchange Director Minhaz Mannan, Rastrochinta coordinator Didarul Bhuiyan and businessman Mustak Ahmed.
Besides, the lawyer of the accused also filed their bail pleas but they were rejected by the court.
The four were arrested from different places in the capital on May 6 and May 7.
A case was filed under the Digital Security Act against them at Ramna Police Station on charge of posting anti-government remarks on Facebook.
