Journalist Mizanur Rahman Khan passed away in a city hospital on Monday evening. He was 53.
He left behind his wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives to mourn his death.

In a condolence message, DCAB President Pantho Rahaman and General Secretary AKM Moinuddin conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members and sought eternal peace of the departed soul.
Mizanur Rahman Khan tested positive for COVID-19 on December 2, last year. He was admitted to Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital on December 5, last year.

Later, he was admitted to Universal Medical College Hospital on December 10, last year following deterioration of his health condition.
He was kept at the ICU and was put on life support on Saturday afternoon.

Doctors declared him death at 6:05pm on Monday.
