Five banks are- Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited, First Security Islami Bank Ltd., Social Islami Bank Limited, Union Bank Limited and NRB Global Bank Limited.
Prof Md Nazmul Hassan, Ph.D, Chairman of IBBL inaugurated the fair as chief guest in the capital.
Presided over by Muhammad Qaisar Ali, Additional Managing Director of IBBL, Dr Tanveer Ahmad, Director of IBBL, Kazi Tawhidul Alam, Additional Managing Director of SIBL and Md Mostafizur Rahman Siddiquee, Additional Managing Director of NRB Global Bank Limited addressed the program as special guests in the city programme.
Md Altaf Hossain, Head of Dhaka Central Zone of IBBL delivered the welcome speech in the programme which was attended by executives, officers, employees and clients of different banks.
The fair provided detail information of digital products and services and spot registration service of different Apps to the clients and visitors.
Prof Md Nazmul Hassan, Ph.D in his speech said formation of Digital Bangladesh is accelerated with the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Islamic Banks play vital role in digitization of banking sector, he added.
He advised the bankers to reach the technology based banking services to the mass people of the country.
The twenty other fair venues are- Khilgaon Girls High School, Mirpur Indoor Stadium, Manarat International University, Gulshan, Khude Panditer Pathshala, Wari, TNT High School field, Motijheel and Mahbub Institute, Shahjahanpur in the capital while Chittagong Club, Chottogram, Rajshahi City Corporation Bhaban, Khulna Public Hall, Barishal BM College, Rangpur Town Hall, Cumilla Town Hall, Bogura Shaheed Titu Auditorium, Cox’s Bazar Public Library field, Munshiganj Shilpokala Academy, Hotel Orion International, Jashore, Mohammad Ali Gymnasium, Sylhet, Noakhali Zilla School field and BRAC Learning Center, Mymensingh were venues outside Dhaka.
