The overall number of global Covid cases has now crossed 614 million amid a rise in new infections in parts of the world.
According to the latest global data, the total case count mounted to 614,225,824 while the death toll reached 6,517,920 on Tuesday morning.
The US has recorded 97,164,732 cases so far and 1,076,053 people have died from the virus in the country, both highest counts around the world.
India's daily Covid-19 caseload Sunday decreased to 2,114, officials said.

According to federal health ministry data released on Monday morning, 2,114 new cases of Covid were reported during the past 24 hours, taking the total tally to 44,502,694 in the country.
The country also logged 15 related deaths in 24 hours, pushing the overall toll to 528,165 since the beginning of the pandemic, the ministry said.

Bangladesh reported 421 more Covid infections in 24 hours till Monday morning.
As no new deaths were reported, the country's total fatalities remained unchanged at 29,334 and with the new cases, the caseload rose to 2,015,308, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case test positivity rate rose to 9.83 percent from Sunday's 8.87 percent as 4,560 samples were tested.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.46 percent and the recovery rate at 97.21 percent.
