“We have to show our sense of patriotism by following the principles and ideals of Bangabandhu,” Benazir said.
He was speaking at the discussion “Bangabandhu and Bangladesh” and the unveiling of the book “Dishari” organised by Bangladesh Police Liberation War Museum in the city capital.
Poet Habibullah Siraji, also director general of Bangla Academy, spoke at the programme, too.

The IGP called on everyone to see Bangabandhu’s March 7 speech through the “magnifying glass” of patriotism, not through politics.
“Bangabandhu’s speech reflects the 4,000 years of exploitation and deprivation of the Bengali nation.”

“We will be a developed country by 2041 and will move ahead holding Bangabandhu’s ideals in our heart,” the chief of Bangladesh Police said.
