Infant’s body turns up in city dustbin


Police recovered the body of a one and half an year-old baby girl from a dustbin, in city’s Hazaribagh area on Tuesday.

Local people spotted the body of the girl from Enayetganj lane in the area around 10:30 am, said sub-inspector of Hazaribagh Police Station, Touhidul Islam.

White foam and blood was coming from the nose of the baby, said police.

Police sent the body to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.

Police suspect that the baby was killed in another place and dumped here.
