An inmate of Natore district jail was taken to the isolation unit of Sadar Hospital on Sunday as he was suffering from fever, cold and sore throat.
Abdul Barek, superintendent of the jail, said they took the under-trial accused to the prison hospital on Saturday as he fell sick.
Doctors kept him in an isolation unit of the hospital after they detected him with high body temperature, runny nose and sore throat, he said.
The jail authorities arranged his bail through a court on Sunday noon and admitted him to the Sadar Hospital, the jail super said.
Civil Surgeon of the district Dr Qazi Mizanur Rahman said the man has been kept at the Corona unit of the hospital.
