President Abdul Hamid on Sunday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of State Minister for Religious Affairs and 1971 Liberation War veteran Advocate Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah.
“His death is an irreparable loss to the politics of Bangladesh.The country has lost a tested politician,” President said.
President prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Sheikh Md Abdullah passed away after suffering a heart attack at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka on Saturday night.
