In the 13th National Parliament, the first seat in the front row of the treasury bench has been taken by Leader of the House and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
Next to the Leader of the House is BNP Secretary General and Local Government Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
The next seats are occupied by Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed.
Other seats in the row are taken, in order, by BNP Standing Committee members Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Mirza Abbas and Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Liberation War Affairs Minister Hafiz Uddin Ahmed (later elected Speaker), Power and Energy Minister Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku and Social Welfare, Women and Children Affairs Minister Abu Zafar Md Zahid Hossain.

Directly behind the Leader of the House, in the second row, sits Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni. Beside him is Law Minister Md Asaduzzaman.
