Members of Rapid Action Battalion on Sunday arrested two suspected criminals along with arms and ammunition from Keraniganj.
The arrestees are Md Alam, 35, son of Md Rafiqul Islam and Md Sujan, 34, son of Md Shahidullah of North Keraniganj.
Rab said in a press release that they were arrested in an operation conducted in the Bashundhara Riverview area around 5 pm.
Ali Reza Rabbi, acting company commander and Assistant SP Md Asaduzzamanl, squad commander of Rab-10 led the operation.
In primary interrogation, the duo confessed to their involvement in terrorism and drug trade.
A foreign pistol, a magazine and three round bullets were recovered from their possession.
