Under the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) system, Walton has been supplying various electronics including AC, fridge, TV to different countries.
Walton has also exported a large volume of IoT (Internet of Things) based Smart and Inverter air conditioner to India.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal officially inaugurated the Walton’s AC export activities to India at Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited (WHIL) at Chandra in Gazipur on March 1.
Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar and State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak also attended the event.
Walton AC’s Chief Executive Director Md Tanvir Rahman said that Walton has been moving ahead with a goal to grab leading position in the global market.
Walton took the initiative to expand its export market in the developed countries including India, Australia, America and Europe, he said.
