All in all, the Bangladesh team could not score more than 209 runs. 240-250 runs could have been quite effective in Mirpur to fight on this wicket. There is definitely regret in the dressing room.

England’s Batting

After the batting failure, the Bangladesh team was already behind in the match. On top of that, Dawid Malan's incredible innings put extra pressure on Bangladesh. Despite the failure in batting, the relief for Bangladesh is the performance of the bowlers. Only Mustafizur Rahman could not show his class. He was wicketless for 42 runs in 8 overs. There was a lot of discussion about Taijul's chance on the team. He poured water on that discussion with 3 wickets. He is the best bowler on the team, with 3 wickets for 54 runs.
