Relentless rain cost an entire day of action on Monday. But with the showers stopping on Tuesday morning, the field has been prepared for the match. However, the final nod depends on the weather, officials said.

When the match was stopped on Day 2, on Sunday, Pakistan were batting at 188 for two in 63.2 overs, with both Azhar Ali and Babar Azam hitting a fifty each.
There were only 6.2 overs of cricket left on Day two, and Day one was also hit by bad weather when the match referee called an early end of the day due to bad light.
