"Most of the wickets in New Zealand are sporting and helpful for the batsman. But if a bowler can bowl according to a good plan and in the right areas, he can taste success."
Rubel played 10 international matches across the formats in New Zealand before and bagged 17 wickets with a five-wicket haul in Test conceding 166 runs. In his five ODIs in New Zealand, Rubel scalped five wickets – the best being taking two for 68 runs.
