Infinix Hot 50 Series
Infinix Hot 50 Pro Review: A Budget-Friendly Powerhouse
Infinix has become a rising star in the budget smartphone market, thanks to its Hot series, known for solid features at affordable prices. The Infinix Hot 50 Pro, launched in Bangladesh, India, and several other countries in October 2024, continues this trend, offering a compelling mix of performance, display, and camera features for value-conscious buyers.
Key Features of the Infinix Hot 50 Pro
.
Design and Build Quality
The Infinix Hot 50 Pro combines a sleek, modern aesthetic with practical durability. It is light and easy to hold at 190 grams and 7.4 mm thick. The plastic back has a glossy finish, giving the phone a premium feel, and the rounded edges make for a comfortable grip.
One standout feature is its IP54 rating, providing dust and splash resistance, which is rare at this price. It is a versatile choice for users who value resilience in their phones. The color options are available in Sleek Black, Titanium Gray, and Glacier Blue, which cater to diverse style preferences.
The Hot 50 shares similar dimensions but lacks the IP54 rating, which adds durability to the Hot 50 Pro. Tecno Spark 30 Pro also offers an IP54 rating, though it has a bulkier build. Overall, the Hot 50 Pro balances design and functionality, giving it a competitive edge.

Display Quality
The Infinix Hot 50 Pro sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ 1080 by 2436 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and responsive touch, perfect for both gaming and browsing. Its high brightness, peaking at 1800 nits, ensures clear viewing outdoors, a rare feature among budget phones.
Compared to the Infinix Hot 50, which has an IPS LCD, the Pro’s AMOLED display is more vibrant and immersive. The slightly higher priced competitor realme 9i offers a 90Hz IPS display, which lacks the colour richness and fluidity of Hot 50 Pro’s AMOLED at 120Hz. Another pricier rival Tecno Spark 30 Pro comes close with Hot 50 Pro’s display features, but its peak brightness is slightly lower (1700nits).
For users who love streaming, gaming, or spending time outdoors, the Hot 50 Pro’s display is a good contender in the budget segment smartphones.

The processor will be the upgraded A18 Bionic chip for the standard models whereas the Pro models will come with A18 Pro chipsets. The battery is expected to remain the same with some technical upgrades.
