Gold and mobile shops looted at Jamuna Future Park
Dhaka, Nov 22 (UNB) – Several shops, including a gold store, were looted in Jamuna Future Park in Dhaka on Thursday night.
Bhatara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mazharul Islam confirmed the incident on Friday, stating, "No complaints have been filed yet. We will take action once we receive a formal complaint."
He also mentioned that the police had already inspected the affected shops.
According to sources, the incident occurred on the third floor, where three mobile phone shops and a gold shop were targeted.
Police stated that the exact extent of the losses could not yet be determined. However, preliminary estimates suggest that goods worth several crore were stolen from those shops.
