Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday urged the youth to be part of decision-making steps with their ideas and innovations to build a future which would be more resilient and sustainable both at this COVID-19 pandemic and also during the post-pandemic period.

Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen has said the wave and strength of public opinion involving youths globally can help end the plight of Rohingyas and create a more sustainable world of peace and stability. 

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the "Dhaka- OIC Youth Capital 2020" on Monday virtually, connecting youths from OIC countries and beyond.

The virtual Rohingya camp tour will be one of the segments of "Dhaka OIC Youth Capital 2020" to introduce the displaced persecuted Rohingya community from Myanmar to global participants.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the "Dhaka- OIC Youth Capital 2020" on July 27 connectivity youth from the OIC countries and beyond virtually.

China has so far provided medical support and sent medical teams to nearly 30 member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation  (OIC) during the Covid-19 pandemic.   The Chinese Embassy in Dhaka informed this in a social media post on Saturday.   “In the fight against COVID-19, #China is with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation #OIC,” the post reads.

Bangladesh has said the OIC Member States require a regional and global response based on unity, solidarity and compassion to overcome the challenges of this pandemic.
