BNP standing committee member and former Prime Minister Barrister Moudud Ahmed was laid to eternal rest at his Manikpur village home in Companiganj upazila, Noakhali on Friday.

The body of BNP standing committee member and eminent lawyer Moudud Ahmed who died in Singapore arrived in Dhaka on Thursday evening.

BNP standing committee member Moudud Ahmed passed away at Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday. He was 81.

Former state minister and BNP vice chairman Mannan died at a hospital in the capital on Tuesday night. He was 78.

MA Haque, a member of BNP Chairperson’s advisory council, died from pneumonia and other cold-related problems at a hospital in Sylhet city on Friday. He was 70.
