A Dhaka court on Sunday fixed September 28 to deliver verdict against Regent Group Chairman Shahed Karim in an arms case.

A case was filed against Regent Hospital Chairman Mohammad Shahed on Monday on charge of embezzling more than Tk 91 lakh from a transport exporter in Chattogram.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Saturday clarified its stance over the Regent Hospital scam and said the much-questioned Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with the hospital on condition of renewal of its license.
