Md Saifuddin, Manager of Mesars Megha Motors filed the case with Double Mooring Police Station accusing Shahed and his accomplice, said Officer-in-Charge of Double Mooring Police Station Sudep Kumar Das.
According to the case statement Shahed took more than Tk 91.25 lakh promising to provide a permit for plying CNG-run auto-rickshaws on the roads in Dhaka on January 22, in 2017.
He also gave a fake road permit signed by Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) Chairman which was later rejected by the BRTC.

Shahed has been absconding since the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) raided the Uttara and Mirpur branches of the hospital on July 6, and arrested eight people on charge of issuing fake Coronavirus test reports in addition to charging the admitted Covid-19 patients exorbitant fees.
The head office of Regent group along with the both hospitals was sealed off and 16 people, including the chairman, were sued on charge of issuing fake coronavirus test reports.
