The Embassy of South Korea held a meeting on Thursday with Korean companies having presence in Bangladesh and discussed trade and investment issues. An expert from KPMG was also invited to the meeting to give a briefing on Bangladesh’s taxation system and important tax-related issues for doing business in Bangladesh. State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid has directed different entities in power sector to evolve specific working strategy to improve the consumers’ services.
