After a long and agonizing wait, the parents of Bangladeshi expatriate youth Mohammad Rayhan Kabir, who caused a stir in Malaysia by speaking out on a crackdown on undocumented immigrants in an Al Jazeera documentary, finally received their son with tears of joy on Saturday.

Expressing grave concern over the arrest of Bangladeshi national Md Rayhan Kabir by the Immigration Department, Malaysian rights group Lawyers for Liberty said the authorities must stop their unlawful harassment against him.

A Bangladeshi national, who was featured in  a documentary on griefs of undoccumented migrant workers in Malaysia aired by Al Jazeera, has reportedly been detained on Friday.
