Left-handed top-order batsman Imrul Kayes says his half-century on day one of the second two-day intra-squad game on Monday at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium came as a relief to him.

Bangladesh left-arm orthodox spinner Taijul Islam has used the hiatus forced by the Covid-19 pandemic to bring some changes in his bowling action. He says the new action has added an edge to his bowling, and he is more confident about bowling long spells now without any niggling worries.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has called off the individual training programme for three days after some of the support staff showed off the symptoms of Covid-19.

The second phase of the individual training programme of the cricketers is all set to kick off Saturday. In this phase, more cricketers are joining as the new schedule of the programme has suggested. 

Right-handed opener Anamul Haque Bijoy joined the individual training programme of the cricketers organised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The programme was initially scheduled for eight days, which was later extended by a few more days.
