Criticising Bangladeshi migrant worker Mohammad Rayhan Kabir’s arrest  by the Malaysian authorities, Human Rights Watch on Wednesday said the authorities should immediately release him and reinstate his work permit.

The lawyers for Md Rayhan Kabir, the Bangladeshi whose interview in an Al Jazeera documentary has led to his arrest in Malaysia, failed to meet him Monday as hoped earlier, despite showing up at immigration police headquarters.
