Covid-19 fatalities in Bangladesh rose to 7,359 with 30 more deaths recorded in 24 hours until Wednesday morning.

Bangladesh reported 2,419 new coronavirus cases in  24 hours until  Monday, pushing up the total tally  to 449,760.

Bangladesh’s confirmed coronavirus tally reached 360,555 on Monday after the health authorities recorded 1,407 cases.

India on Monday registered nearly 87,000 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours and 1,130 deaths.

The global coronavirus death count soared to 933,490 on Wednesday morning, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University (JHU).

Thirteen pairs of passenger trains resumed operation from Sunday on different routes to make services more functional amid Covid-19 pandemic, said Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujan.

Two people, undergoing treatment at Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College, died of Covid-19 on Friday.
