Director General of Rapid Action Battalion ( Rab) Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun on Friday said the investigation into the killing of retired Major Sinha Rashed Khan has made positive progress and the case will be settled soon.

The High Court on Sunday dropped from its cause list a writ petition seeking  restriction on disclosing the details of the investigation of Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan murder case to the media.

Two BNP MPs on Monday sharply criticised the government for what they said the ongoing “extrajudicial” killings and demanded a statement from the Home Minister whether all citizens of the republic will get the equal scope to take shelter under the arm of the law.
