In the final of the BCB President’s Cup on Sunday, Najmul XI failed to post a challenging total against Mahmudullah XI at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Mahmudullah XI beat Tamim XI by four wickets in the ongoing BCB President’s Cup at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Monday, keeping alive their dream of playing the final.

Half-centuries by Yasir Ali and Mahidul Islam helped Tamim XI post 221 for eight in 50 overs in the BCB President’s Cup on Monday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. 

Najmul XI beat Mahmudullah XI once again in the ongoing BCB President’s Cup. Their latest win came on Saturday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium by a big margin of 131 runs.

Left-handed batsman Afif Hossain posted a wonderful 98 to propel Najmul XI to a challenging total of 264, also the highest in the event so far, for eight wickets off their allotted overs against Mahmudullah XI on Saturday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Mahmudullah Riyad-led Mahmudullah XI sealed the second game of the ongoing BCB President’s Cup against Tamim Iqbal-led Tamim XI by five wickets (DL Method) on Tuesday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Mahmudullah XI restricted Tamim XI to 103 runs on Tuesday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the second match of the BCB President’s Cup.

Dhaka, Oct 10 (UNB) — In an attempt to bring the game of cricket back to the field after a long hiatus forced by Covid-19, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is all set to host a three-team one-day competition— BCB President’s Cup— from Sunday. On the opening day, Najmul XI will take on Mahmudullah XI at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
