Bangladesh on Sunday endured its second defeat in the two-match Test series against the West Indies despite a late heroic display from Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

In reply to West Indies’ first innings of 409 runs, Bangladesh fell short of 113 runs as they tumbled for 196 for all wicket in 96.5 overs on Saturday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Right-handed allrounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz smashed his maiden Test ton on Thursday at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
