The Hot 20S has a boxed design. However, unlike other similar looking phones, such as iPhones, it has chamfered edges. The edge may make you feel annoyed while holding the phone. However, using a clear case may give you a comfortable grip while it also protects the back from fingerprints and keeps your phone shiny.
The left side of the Infinix Hot 20S contains a hybrid SIM card slot, and you will get a volume rocker button alongside the power button on the right side. The power button also has a fingerprint scanner. The top edge of the phone is clean, but the bottom contains a 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB Type C, loudspeaker, and built-in microphone.
Overall, the phone is robust and sturdy. Also, Hot 20S has a pre-applied screen protector, which gives extra protection for your screen.

Display and Audio
The phone feature a 6.78-inch IPS FHD+ display with an 84.3% screen-to-body ratio. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate with a 2460 x 1080 pixel resolution. It also has better power efficiency than other types of displays, so they can help extend battery life. Additionally, the display panels have better touch response and better response times, making them ideal for multitouch applications and games.
However, you might not feel the 120HZ refresh rate as Infinity used a midrange chip. That being said, you may feel it like a 90Hz panel.
But the dual speaker will give you an excellent feel. However, they are not the loudest, audible enough for a room.

Infinix Note 12 G96 Review: A Budget Phone With Top-Notch Features
The Infinix Note 12 series is a new line of smartphones that comes with a lot of features and specifications. The phones are perfect for those who love taking pictures and videos as well as multitasking. Some of the notable features of these phones include large screen size, a fast processor, ample storage space, and a camera that is capable of capturing stunning images and videos. Recently the company has added a new phone Note 12 G96, to its lineup. The phone was released on June 21, 2022, in Bangladesh. Let’s get to know the features and price of Infinix Note 12 G96.
Key Features of Infinix Note 12 G96
Design and Build
Infinix Note 12 G96 is slim at 7.8mm thickness, and its weight is 1.85g. The phone resembles the recent iPhone, which has a square-sided frame with inwards to the rear and front sections. While the front part is plain like all the phones, you will get three options for the back part, snowfall, force black, and sapphire blue.
The phone appears well-made considering its budget class. The back, as well as the front, is made of glass. The frame notably looks like metal, but it is actually plastic. The camera lens and design are regular. While the competitors have a bit bulkier design with the cameras, G96 kept everything neat.
Read Samsung Galaxy A04s: The coming soon budget killer phone
There’s an audio jack in the phone but no official waterproof rating. The good thing about G96 is that you can unlock the phone by touching the power button as it has a fingerprint scanner.
Display
Among the reasons to buy Note 12 G96 is the extensive 6.7-inch display, which is standard for high-end Note branded devices. Its large 6.7 inches give you the opportunity to watch videos, play games, or simply scroll through your photos. Budget phones frequently feature LCD displays, but leading makers like Infinix have an AMOLED screen with a superior Full HD resolution. This will give you more contrast, vibrant colors, and better brightness than most.
The peak brightness measured is 514 nits, while the display might not be easy to view outdoors under sunlight. The display can replicate 100% of the P3 spectrum; hence you can call it true color. However, the display contains some reasonable bezels, and it doesn’t provide a high refresh rate either.

Speakers
You can get stereo speakers on the phone, and they sound a lot better than you might expect for the price. The volume levels are surprisingly high, and the balance is exceptional. Infinix Note 12 G96’s sound quality is better than the competitors.
Performance
This version of Note 12 includes a MediaTek Helio G96 processor, which is more powerful than its ancestor Note 12 with G88. This octa-core processor with up to 2.05GHz clock speed is a competitor of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 available inside the Redmi Note 11. Infinix says that it enhances the display screen and visuals and provides faster gaming performance, with breakthrough performance.
To boost the processor, the phone comes with 8GB of RAM. In addition, Infinix offers something that is becoming increasingly common in Extended RAM, where you may add 5GB RAM using the ROM storage. The phone comes with 128GB and 256GB of ROM storage.
Read Vivo X80 Pro 5G Review: Is it a reasonable flagship Smartphone?
The benchmark results from the Note 12 G96 are highly desirable, but scoring better than both the Redmi Note 11 and Realme 9i seems too minor to get much attention. They are not much different from similarly priced handsets in this particular test.
It should also be noted that the G96 model does not feature 5G connectivity, so if you need access to the most recent mobile networks, you may need to look elsewhere. The Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro 5G and Oppo A54 5G are both great options that fit your budget and are worth checking out for 5G access.
The phone comes with a dual sim option and the second slot is absolutely usable as you don’t need to insert any SD card into that.
Read Infinix Hot 12 Review: Is it a good budget Smartphone?
Infinix Note 12 G96 comes with Android 12 with the company’s XOS 10.6 UI over the top, which makes the operating system more elegant. Like iOS, XOS has a notification panel along with a quick setting on either side of the central camera.
Cameras
It’s nice to see that the Infinix Note 12 G96 hasn’t yielded to the trap of adding just 2 megapixels of macro only to increase the megapixel count. The phone’s main camera is 50 megapixels, accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
An ultrawide would be a pleasant upgrade, but on a budget phone like G96, the main camera is good enough to shoot promising photos.
Read OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite 5G Review: Know its Pros, Cons
With the main camera, you can perfectly capture some pleasing images with some good details. It can even correct the exposure with accurate colors. However, you may still see some noise if you take a close shot, even the outdoors.
Note 12’s video quality is satisfactory when used at resolutions of 2K and 30fps, although the default setting of 720p speaks for itself. The detail is excellent at the higher resolution. However, it is not furnished with optical stabilization for steady shooting, so unless it is kept very still, it might not work at all.
Battery and Charging
The phone comes with a large 5000mAh battery which gives strong longevity. With relatively light usage, the battery can last two days easily. A large battery provides more power, which means you can run your apps and games faster and longer without having to worry about running out of battery.
Read Infinix Hot 12 Play Review: Should you buy this budget phone?
For charging, it comes with 33W capability, which is decent enough for a budget phone. The phone can get charged to 50% in just 30 minutes.
Price of Infinix Note 12 G96’S in Bangladesh
With all these excellent features, Note 12 G96 is officially priced at Tk. 19,999.
Verdict
As a budget phone, you are getting decent core specs at the cheapest price. With a high-speed processor, up to 13GB RAM, a 6.7-inch display, and enhanced ROM, Infinix Note 12 G96 will surely be a great pick under TK. 20,000.

Infinix Hot 12 Play Review: Should you buy this budget phone?
Ever since its inception in 2013, Infinix has always had its focus on one thing – budget killer devices. The company has consistently launched devices under its various lines with its core aim of bringing aggressive value for money. They recently launched the Infinix Hot 12 Play on 30th May 2022 globally. The phone is now officially available in Bangladesh as well. Here is a detailed take on the device so that prospective buyers can decide whether to go for this device or not.
Infinix Hot 12 Play Key Specifications
Design and Build Quality
The first thing to note is that Infinix is a through and through budget device. One of the quirks with the budget devices is that they don’t tend to stick to a design language. High-end devices like iPhones or the S series from Samsung always go about making small incremental changes in the hardware to bring a seamless experience. However, that is not the case with budget devices and certainly not with the Hot series from Infinix.
The previous iteration had a vertical dual-tone back. This time, Infinix introduced a horizontal partition on the lower end of the device. The upper portion has a pronounced vertical shade whereas the bottom part exudes a faded brushed glow. The light refraction on both parts gives the device its rustic premium look.
Read: OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite 5G Review: Know its Pros, Cons
Moving on to ports and buttons and everything is as expected and utilitarian in a budget device. The phone sports all the usual bells and whistles like a dedicated microSD slot, 3.5 headphone jack, and a much-loved USB Type C charging port. The fingerprint sensor now got its dedicated place on the back right beside the camera module.
Overall, the build and design won’t blow away the users. But small increments come together to make a decent device considering the price.
Display
Infinix hasn’t jumped onto the AMOLED bandwagon yet. The choice of sticking with the IPS LCD is understandable considering the limited options. But that didn’t stop the company from trickling some high-end features into the Hot 12 Play.
Read: Xiaomi offers up to Tk12,000 cashback on smartphones
The display itself is a large 6.82-inch panel with HD+ resolution and 259 ppi. The modest specs are alleviated with the addition of the 90 Hz refresh rate. In addition to that, the panel has a touch sampling rate of 180 Hz so touches and browsing feel absolutely smooth. The phone’s brightness maxes out at 800 nits. Outdoor visibility isn’t much of an issue but users might see some glares under direct sunlight.
Camera
On the flip side of the device, the rectangular camera housing holds two large vertical camera sensors and an imitative small cutout at the bottom. While it might look like a sensor, it is just there for the aesthetics. Speaking of useless additions, one of the two lenses is a QVGA lens while the main sensor is a 13 MP wide-angle f/1.8 shooter.
It doesn’t make any sense as to why companies still include a QVGA lens with their devices. The choice can be attributed to cost cuts and better selling points with a dual camera.
Read: Oneplus 10R Lite: What will it offer?
The main sensor itself performs on average. Then again, users will be wrong to expect premium performance out of a device that is priced under 15,000 BDT. The lens can take decent pictures in direct sunlight and well-lit environments. Just like its predecessor, the problem starts in low light. Images appear to be grainy and with a lot of noise. This isn’t a phone which will necessarily be known for its camera. Rather it’s a feature Infinix is still yet to perfect.
Processor and Performance
Speaking of perfecting, Infinix has brought a resounding improvement in the processor and performance department. Most of the competitors in this price range including the Hot 11 was powered by the entry-level MediaTek Helio G35. The G30 series from MediaTek does only the bare minimums and simply registers its presence as a processor.
Infinix has moved away from the partnership and opted for the UniSoc T610 processor built on the octa-core architecture. And this simple choice has made a world difference in performance. Even on paper, the UniSoc processor performs almost double that of the G30 series from MediaTek.

The device blazes through every type of day-to-day task thrown at it. We tried gaming on the device and it didn’t let us down there as well. The device can run 3D games like PUBG in high settings without any visible stutter. But there are some frame drops here and there and the device does get slightly heated owing to the plastic build.
Overall, the performance of the Hot 12 Play is a huge upgrade from the previous generation. It is still a perfect device for everyday casual use. But users can now throw in some games here and there and play along as the name suggests.
The OS here is the same XOS based on Android 11. Given the budget constraints, we would suggest not to expect an update to the Android 12 anytime soon.
Read Infinix Hot 12 Review: Is it a good budget Smartphone?
Battery and Charge Time
The Infinix Hot 12 Play comes with a non-removable 6000 mAh battery. The high battery can easily power the device for 7 to 8 hours of continuous use. But the limiting 10W charger means topping this huge battery up will be a time-consuming process.
Price of Infinix Hot 12 Play
The Infinix Hot 12 Play is officially available in Bangladesh in 2 variants. The 4GB/64GB variant will cost 12,999 BDT and the 4GB/128GB will cost 13,999 BDT. The price is subject to change.
Verdict
The Infinix Hot 12 Play in all its glory is still a hit and a miss from the budget brand. While the design, performance, and overall usability have increased over the last iteration, there are still areas like the camera and the OS that require a major upgrade. Infinix should definitely look into these aspects in order to truly diversify its customer base. Or else they might get stuck in the loop that they themselves created – a niche of devices specifically catered for the low-budget client segment.

Infinix Hot 10s Smartphone Review
Infinix is going to launch another new smartphone Infinix Hot 10s in the country's market. However, the phone has already launched in several markets in Africa and Asia, including India, Indonesia in May. Bangladesh is expected to get the phone in July. Infinix Hot 10S comes with MediaTek Helio G85 and Dar-Link game booster feature with a 7.8 HD + display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. What else will you get? Let's find it out in this detailed Infinix Hot 10s Review.
Key Features of Infinix Hot 10s
Performance
As per the released phone in other countries, Infinix Hot 10s comes with two variations of RAMs, 4GB and 6GB, which are equipped with 64GB and 128GB storage. However, a MicroSD slot is there for your convenience to expand the memory.
Further, you will get a boost through its Mediatek Helio G85 chip. Moreover, the chip can give you a fascinating user experience via the 90Hz refresh rate display.
Read realme C25s Review: G85 Equipped Powerful Gaming Smartphone
However, the phone might not offer speedy performance as some heavy apps might take time to load. But considering the price, it is worth it. Infinix has a built-in couple of tweaks that can get you faster scrolling.
The best thing about the performance is that the phone is powerful enough to play any game with even the highest possible resolution. However, the Helio G85 has a tendency to get hot while using for a long time. But you will not face any problem with the Infinix Hot 10s as it added their gaming mode 'Dar-Link,' which is a sort of software optimization. This new gaming mode can cool down the phone if it heats up.

Display and Speaker
We have already mentioned that the Hot 10s has a 90Hz display which is smoother and snappier than the competitors. The panel comes with a 6.82-inch LCD display and 720P resolution and can get up to 440nits brightness. The brightness level is perfect for the outdoors, and you can use the phone even on a scorching sunny day. The display at 6.82 inches is considerably huge, and you can enjoy the screen for any high-resolution games or videos.
As for the Speaker, it can get you an average performance. A single speaker is located at the bottom, but it is a bit weak in terms of bass. Thankfully, Hot 10s comes with a 3.5mm jack for your multimedia needs. Moreover, you can connect to a Bluetooth headset too.

Design and Build
Infinix Hot 10s is a budget-friendly phone. Hence, it uses the basic build, and the phone is built with all plastic. But they put a smudge-free glossy finish. It also contains a patterned curved line in the back, and apart from this, 10s seem to have a similar look to other versions of Infinix.
Although the phone weighs around 200 grams, it doesn't feel too bulky as it is only 9mm thick. Hence, you can even use the phone single-handedly.
The right edge of the phone features the volume rocker and power button, which are easy to reach and click. When it comes to fingerprint accessibility, Hot 10s followed the previous versions and put the fingerprint scanner in the back.

Software
Infinix Hot 10s is the company's first phone that comes with Android 11 out of the box. Due to the newest android operating system, the UI feels much cleaner. And the good thing is that the phone doesn't come with dozens of pre-installed apps like the past versions.
However, you will still find a few pre-installed apps, but those are from Infinix, and you cannot uninstall them. Hot 10s also comes with Google Stock Dialer as well as a messages app.

Battery & Network
It is a highly positive sign that the phone comes with a 6000mAh battery that can help you to play uninterrupted games. But you will have to charge it through the ancient micro-USB charger through a basic 10-watt brick. If you use the phone continuously at 90 Hz, you will get 8 hours battery life. Further, the phone has a dedicated power marathon mode that can help you to increase the battery life if need.
However, the charging speed is slightly dull as it doesn't come with a fast charging feature. Hence, the phone might take 3.5-4 hours to get a full charge.
Infinix Hot 10s supports a 4G network, so you will certainly get a decent reception. Further, Wi-Fi 802.11 will provide you good connectivity. Moreover, the 5.0, A2DP, LE Bluetooth connectivity allows you to connect anything with ease.

Camera
The triple rear camera gives a better look. The main camera features a 48MP Samsung sensor that can take 12MP pixel-binned photos. The 2MP depth sensor with a third AI sensor lens will boost the photo quality. However, none of the cameras feature ultra-wide capability, but you will get the wide-angle video through the primary camera.
On the front side of 10s, you will find an 8MP selfie camera with dedicated LED flashes that enhance the performance in the low ling or in the dark. Nevertheless, the HDR support should get you a better view, but you will experience the soft details. However, a macro lens would have done a better job.

At the same time, the company has managed to keep the price low. Among other similarly priced phones, this smartphone possibly offers the best features. This Infinix Hot 10 Play Review will highlight over all the crucial aspects of the smartphone.
Infinix Hot 10 Play Review- Features and Price
Design & Structure
A textured design with a gradient glow effect is on the back of the Infinix Hot 10 Play. The design looks like pipeline work, which is quite common around budgeted phones. The back has a radiant glow finish that brings quite a catchy eye look.
The smartphone comes in four different colors. So, users can choose a color that suits their personal taste the most. The company names for these colors are Obsidian Black, Morandi Green, Aegean Blue, and Seven Degree Purple.
The back of the phone rooms a rectangular camera panel. The curve of the panel perfectly aligns with the roundness of the back cover. Apart from the panel, there is a fingerprint sensor placed just beside the panel. The fingerprint sensor feels much more responsive than the other prior versions.

Display
Infinix Hot 10 Play has a 6.82” display that surely is a big screen. It makes the smartphone a great pick for users who love to play games and watch videos. The display keeps a 20.5:9 ratio while its screen-to-body ratio is 90.66%.
The display is the prime feature of the phone as the company also emphasizes that aspect. Infinix Hot 10 Play is advertised to be a great video player and provide a good video watching experience. As the name suggests, the display is also handy when it comes to game playing.
The sin and bezel around the display could be a bit linear, especially at the upper and lower side. At the mid-top of the screen is a secondary camera placed in a teardrop camera-holder.

Lenses
In terms of cameras, Infinix Hot 10 Play hasn’t fallen much far from its predecessors. A dual 13MP primary camera is placed in the rear camera panel. A 2MP depth sensor accompanies this camera. The secondary front camera is 8MP. Both cameras have an AI-based support algorithm.
The overall picture quality is comparatively better. The light and color distribution and edge detection are countable. Moreover, the phone has also implemented an AI Beauty Mode. This mode uses an AI algorithm and detects the skin tone with more precision. Users will get beautiful pictures without effort.
Hardware
Infinix has introduced Helio G-Series chipsets in its Hot Play series for the first time. Infinix Hot 10 Play has used an Helio G-25 Octa-Core processor. Compared to the Mediatek Helio A25 processor used in Hot 9, Helio G25 is of another level. Much more powerful and fast, this processor will give better gaming and app user experience.
The GPU used in Hot 10 is also robust. Contributing with a new turbo technology, the phone gives smoother gaming opportunities. This new technology keeps the phone from lagging during running games by switching between networks.
A 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM have been used in this phone. The 4GB Ram is more than appreciable considering the powerful GPU and CPU. Besides, the ROM is also sufficient to store enough games and applications.

Software
Infinix Hot 10 Play is based on Android 10. It has used a modified version of XOS 7.0, which aims to bring more convenience to the users. The UI has been redesigned. More necessary options have been moved to the lower portion, while the upper side has more whitespace. This design has made the phone operable only by one hand.
Along with the regular Android 10 features, the phone has some extra features which are equally useful. Like the image compressor. A new tool that compresses images and allows the users to save more space. The feature is undoubtedly a handy one for a phone with 64GB RAM.
Battery
The battery is another aspect that justifies Infinix Hot 10 Play’s name. The ultimate 6000 mAh battery is a big gain in such a small-budgeted phone. The large battery capacity gives players long-time undisrupted usability. They can indulge in unlimited fun and games without bothering to charge the phone several times on the same day.
The huge battery capacity will give a minimum of two days coverage even for extreme use. With medium use, users will have almost three days of battery coverage.
