Like every year, the Consumer Electronics Show 2024 marked the start of an exciting year of tech ahead. From wearables to entertainment to even farming tech, CES brings about every form of consumer tech imaginable under one roof. From January 9 to 12, the event took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center located in the Nevada state of the United States. Let’s dig into the best picks from this year’s CES.  The Most Exclusive Tech Gadgets of CES 2024  Rabbit R1: A Standalone Personal Assistant The concept of Rabbit R1 might be a bit complex for some. It’s essentially a $199 device meant to use your phone for you. And if you’re not scratching your head already, it essentially uses AI to navigate tasks on your phone which otherwise you’d have to do yourself.  Rabbit R1 uses a simple command button like ChatGPT where you speak a command and it gets on with the task using your smartphone as the base. For example, ordering food or booking a UBER. The possibilities are supposed to be limitless with this AI assistant. While many are still skeptical about its practicality, Rabbit R1 was a highlight at CES.  Signature Series T OLED from LG: A New Transparent OLED Tech   LG unveiled its Signature Series T OLED screen at CES 2024. And in short, this is probably what magic in tech looks like. The transparent screen is mounted on a frame, which when turned off, looks just like a slab of glass. The screen can project everything a normal OLED panel can do except without a background. The result is an entirely new viewing experience which honestly feels surreal. The 77-inch screen provides ample real estate to enjoy any kind of content on it, even holographic ones!

Adele is the latest celebrity to speak out about the concerning trend, telling a Las Vegas crowd that she would "kill" anyone who threw something at her, reports BBC. "Dare you to throw something at me," she joked. Adele is well-known for throwing T-shirts into the audience during her Vegas residency, but her statements are in reaction to a series of events in which fans flung objects on stage, said the report. And when a sex toy dropped on stage when Lil Nas X performed in Sweden on Saturday, he appeared amused, the report also said. In November, Harry Styles got hit in the eye with a sweet, and Pink appeared uneasy when a bag of human ashes was tossed on stage. Ava Max has previously been smacked on stage, and in June, a bracelet was thrown at country artist Kelsea Ballerini. Charlie Puth has also requested fans put an end to the practice, stating on Twitter that "the trend... must come to an end" and that it is "disrespectful and very dangerous." So why are fans doing it? Dr Lucy Bennett is a Cardiff University lecturer who studies the interaction between fans and their favourite performers. She believed that people's attitudes have shifted since the Covid-19 pandemic, "where we couldn't be physically present at concerts." And Dr Bennett believed some individuals are doing it since it is more difficult to be noticed by artists on social media. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were wed Saturday in a late-night Las Vegas drive-through chapel, culminating a relationship that stretched over two decades in two separate romances and headlined countless tabloid covers. Lopez announced their marriage Sunday in her newsletter for fans with the heading “We did it.” Lopez initially made their engagement public in April on the same newsletter, “On the J Lo.” “Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” wrote Lopez in a message signed Jennifer Lynn Affleck. She called it the best night of their lives. “Stick around long enough and maybe you’ll find the best moment of your life in a drive through in Las Vegas at 12:30 in the morning in the tunnel of love drive through with your kids and the one you’ll spend forever with,” said Lopez. News of their nuptials first spread Sunday after the Clark County clerk’s office in Nevada showed that the pair obtained a marriage license that was processed Saturday. The marriage license filing showed that Lopez plans to take the name Jennifer Affleck. Representatives for Lopez and Affleck declined to comment. Lopez, 52, and Affleck, 49, famously dated in the early 2000s, spawning the nickname “Bennifer,” before rekindling their romance last year. A fire in a three-story apartment building in downtown Las Vegas where residents were apparently using their stoves for heat killed six people and forced some residents to jump from upper-floor windows to escape the heavy smoke before dawn Saturday, authorities said.
