Itel Vision 2 Plus Review: Know the Advantages and Disadvantages
Itel Vision 2 Plus is the enhanced version of the Itel Vision 2. It is the successor to the Vision series’s Itel Vision 1 Plus. Vision 2 Plus was first released in June 2021. Only about half a month later, Itel has brought a new variant of Vision 2 Plus in July 2021. So, what's new in this new variant, and how much might it cost? This article presents details about the features of the Itel Vision 2 Plus.
Itel Vision 2 Plus Full Review
Design
The Itel Vision 2 Plus has an elegant design that goes beyond its budget range. With a 7-inch height, the phone will give a tab-like impression. Users might find the phone hard to operate with one hand.
The overall design of the phone is eye-catchy and satisfactory. The matte textured pattern finish on the back with a gradient effect won't let users complain about the look. The subtle texture will give more of a hand feel than a visual feel. It makes a better grip possible over the giant phone and protects the back from taking any stain.
A dual-camera slot, a fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear side of the phone. The fingerprint sensor might feel like it is a bit higher than where it should have been, as reaching it with the finger takes effort. The right side of the phone gives room to a volume rocker and power button. The sim cardholder is at the left, while a loudspeaker and an audio jack are at the bottom. Clearly, users are going to get more than just the basics.

Display
It has given a 6.8-inch Full HD IPS display that supports up to 720p resolution. That is much more than that of other entry-level phones. Extra-large and better-quality screen is something rare in low-budget phones. To add to its robustness, the phone offers a 60Hz refresh rate in its display. That means the touch response will also be a good experience for the users.
What seems to be an issue is the low level of brightness in the display. It introduces two types of effects. The colors projected on the screen seem less standard, and the display goes completely dark in the sunshine. To operate then, the brightness level needs to be set to the highest. On the top right corner of the display is a teardrop camera housing. Also, the chin and bezel of the phone are comparatively thinner. So, these won’t bother users much while watching videos or playing games.

Front Camera
The primary camera panel comes with two cameras. The primary camera is a 13MP wide lens, and with it, there is a 0.3MP depth sensor which is claimed to be an AI sensor. The images processed by these lenses are average, and nothing beyond expectation will come out from Vision 2 Plus cameras.
There wasn’t enough dynamic ratio managed by the cameras. The delivered images seem to have a bit warm tone. The tone sometimes adds some extra value to the overall look of the images, while sometimes it ruins the ambiance. The contrast rises in the low light. Photos taken at night need extra care to get a considerable quality. Users can record videos at 30fps for a maximum 1080p resolution with the primary camera.

Secondary Camera
The front teardrop camera holder rooms a 5MP selfie camera. Considering the trend in other budget phones, Vision 2 Plus could easily introduce at least an 8MP lens at the front. The front camera simply enhances the brightness level of the picture. That produces clear photos; however, the picture gets smoother due to a lack of sharpness and details. Pictures taken in the portrait mode are of average quality and have nothing to add to their side.
Performance, Software, and UI
The phone comes with an octa-core Spreadtrum UniSoC chipset. This chipset is more likely to come in lower mid-budget phones. But Vision 2 Plus has made it in their cheap price phone. To accompany the processor, the PowerVR GE8322 GPU has been installed. The CPU is equipped with Unisoc SC9863A (28nm) chipset.
Combined with their strengths, the phone gives a great regular task processing performance and low-level gameplay. The newly released 3GB × 64GB variant performs a little better in multitasking and app browsing.

However, the overall gameplay is not good as the phone lags during running high-config games like PUBG and Call of Duty. Users shouldn't play such games with this phone; otherwise, it will put pressure on the processor.
When it comes to the skin, even the later release of Vision 2 Plus has come with the Android 10 base version. The best choice would be the Android 11 as it would smoothen some tasks and give a better experience.
Battery and Charging
Now comes another strong point of Vision 2 Plus. It presents a 5000 mAh battery that can keep the phone alive for even two days at a stretch for a regular user. Heavy users can run the phone for one day at least with long hours of video watching and gaming.

But it breaks hearts to see that still now a phone offers a 5W charger. It's like giving a bucket to fill up an empty ocean with water. A 15W battery would be the most optimal here. The charger needs around 6 to 7 hours to charge the battery to the fullest.
Official Price of Itel Vision 2 Plus Smartphone in Bangladesh
When the first Vision 2 Plus got released, many left sighs of despair as the phone didn't bring a 3GB variant. Well, the despair has been mitigated so far. The basic 2GB × 32GB version still costs BDT 8,990, when the 3GB × 64GB version is priced BDT 9,990. The price is subjected to change depending upon the company's decisions.
Final Verdict
The market for cheap phones is becoming one of the most crowded of all. To raise one's head in such a crowd is tough. With elegant design, large display, competitive RAM and storage, and a huge battery, the Itel Vision 2 Plus has made its effort. All the other lacks will not seem to be issued if considered against the price. If you want a low-budget phone with smart features to have a take on your regular tasks, Itel Vision 2 Plus is your phone.

Itel Vision 2 Plus Review – Stylish, Yet Typical
The smartphone market is right now brimmed with low-budget phones. One great reason behind this is smartphone parts are becoming cheaper with time. The power and features you can get within an entry-level phone were unimaginable even a couple of years ago. Itel has a goal to offer quality smartphones to consumers who are looking for cheap phones. Objectifying the same goal, the company has introduced another handset, “Itel Vision 2 Plus.” By its name, it is the descendant of the priorly released Itel Vision 2. This Itel Vision 2 Plus review will go through all the nitty-gritty details of the phone.
Itel Vision 2 Plus Full Review
Itel first announced the installation of Itel Vision 2 Plus in May 2021, and later in the same month, the phone got released. While their many features lent from its ancestral model Vision 2, a couple of tweaks have also been made.
Design
The hurdle of manufacturing an entry-level phone is making a balance among all the features. In most budget-phones are some strong and weak points. When it comes to Itel Vision 2 Plus, its design is one of the best features. It has around 7 inches giant body that is difficult to operate with one hand.
The rear cover has a matte and textured finish. The texture is elegantly designed as it can only felt with a hand. Visualizing it is not easy from even a near distance. This specific finish has made the cover less sensitive to staining.
The back has a dual camera panel on the upper left, a fingerprint sensor on the upper middle. It can be a little hurdle to reach the sensor as it might felt a bit higher than usual. A volume rocker with a power button is placed on the right side of the phone. On the left is a multi-channel dual sim cardholder. At the bottom, a mic, an audio jack, and a mini loudspeaker crowd.

Display
An IPS Full HD display might not ring the bell even when it comes with an entry-level phone. But what must beat the drum is getting a 6.8” IPS display featuring 720P resolution. The giant screen is a unique addition to a phone with such a minimal rate. Moreover, it has a 60-Hz display which justifies the phone. The touch response was not bad at all.
However, the brightness of the phone is an issue in the presence of bright light. On the outside, even with full brightness, the display will show itself much. The color projection on the screen feels a bit wishy-washy as it lacks standard contrast. Still, it is better compared to other similarly rated phones in the market.

Lenses and Snaps
The rear camera panel contains two cameras. The primary one is a 13MP lens which is accompanied by a 0.3MP depth sensor. Cameras can break hearts if they are expected to deliver super-quality pictures. They will give as much as a low-budget phone should do.
Daylight snaps are of good quality and project near perfect color range. However, they can seem a bit washed out as edge detection capacity is not up to the mark. Lowlight captures are not satisfactory as noise level overwhelms them.
The secondary selfie camera is an 8MP lens that processes pictures that seem a bit washed out. Apart from it, the amount of brightness and color synchronization seems acceptable.

Hardware and Performance
The first reminder to the buyer of an entry-level phone is that he/she must compromise the performance. However, as it seems, Itel Vision 2 Plus has tried its best to incorporate a standard-level processor. The octa-core Spreadtrum UniSoC SC9863A chipset is not something people can get in such priced phones. Besides, the PowerVR GE8322 GPU has only strengthened the phone’s performance.
This results in smooth regular task execution and multi-tasking. Users can also play low requirement games as long as they want. Such games will give them a lag-free, seamless experience.
However, if anyone wants to play games PUBG, or Call of Duty, or Asphalt 9, and other high config games, he will be disappointed. They are unplayable with this phone.
Another disappointment for the users is the operating system implemented in the Itel Vision 2 Plus. The company should have gone for the Android 11 instead of Android 10 GO Edition.

Battery and Charging
A huge 5000mAh battery is definitely pleasing when it comes to such a reasonable price. This extra-large battery will easily keep the phone alive for at least 8 to 10 hours. With limited use, it can even sustain more than a day.
But what users can’t believe is the 5W charger that comes with the phone. It’s still a wonder how Itel decided to offer such a weak charger to fill up a battery that size. It’s like filling a water Jug with a tablespoon. The charger takes around 6 to 7 hours to feed the battery to its head.

Price in Bangladesh
Itel has made only one variant of Vision 2 Plus available in Bangladesh. It has 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. Interested people can get this phone at BDT 8,990. Though the price is unimaginably low, still the offered RAM capacity is a major downside for it. Even its ancestor phone Itel Vision 2 offers 3GB RAM. Depreciation in such an important feature is definitely a bad play from the smartphone company’s end.

Final Verdict
Like all the other phones, Itel Vision 2 Plus has its own perks and disadvantages. The minimal price, large display, and ginormous battery surely play by the phone’s side. While the insufficient RAM, poor phone performance, camera performance, etc. downsize the phone’s overall quality. The phone will be the perfect fit for people who has a tight budget and still want a smartphone for regular tasks. Otherwise, buying this phone will be disappointing.
