Eighteen judges, who served as additional justices to the High Court, have been made permanent.
The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs issued a gazette notification in this regard on Friday.

President Abdul Hamid made the appointments after consulting with Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, the notification said.
The appointment will be effective from the day of their swearing-in, according to the gazette notification.
