Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two suspects accused in the killing of Shohagh in city’s Uttar Khan area by a teen-gang, from the city's Mollertek area under Dakkhin Khan on Tuesday.

The arrestees were identified as Mahbubul Islam alias Russel, 20, son of Abdus Salam of Pirojpur and Ridoy, 22, son of Mohamamd Shaheed of Uttarkhan area.

Tipped off, a team of Rab conducted a drive in the area and arrested them from Mollertek area at 3:30 pm.

The elite force also recovered two foreign made pistols, two magazines and eight bullets from their possession.

Both of them are members of teen gang ‘The Boss’.

On August 27, Shohag, 20, a HSC examinee of Uttara Public School and College was hacked to death allegedly by the teen gang over a trifling matter.

Later, victim’s brother filed a case with Uttar Khan Police Station.
