The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed a case against a food inspector and his wife accusing them of amassing illegal wealth.
The accused are - food inspector and in-charge of Nageshwari LSD of Kurigram, Noor Mohammad Ali and his wife Sajeda Begum.
ACC Deputy Assistant Director Nur Alam filed the case with its Rangpur integrated district office on Wednesday, said a press release on Thursday.

ACC spokesperson Pranab Kumar said Noor Mohammad Ali accumulated wealth worth over Tk 9.2 million through illegal means or bribe.
Ali transferred the properties to his wife Sajeda Begum’s account to conceal the money, he said.
The case was filed under the Anti-Corruption Commission Act-2004, and the Money Laundering Act-2012.
