Khairul Islam, assistant superintendent of police of RAB-15 and also the investigation officer of the case, submitted the charge sheet before Cox’s Bazar Senior Judicial Magistrate Tamanna Farah on Sunday.
Of the charge-sheeted accused 14 are behind bars now while one is absconding, Khairul said.

Sinha was shot dead in Teknaf’s Baharchhara police outpost on July 31.
On August 5, his sister Sharmin Shahriar Ferdous filed the case with Teknaf Senior Judicial Magistrate Court, accusing 13 policemen.
All the accused, except former officer-in-charge of Teknaf Police Station Pradeep Kumar Das, gave confessional statements before the court.

The home ministry formed a four-member committee, headed by Mizanur Rahman, additional divisional commissioner (development), on August 2.
On August 6, a Cox’s Bazar court issued arrest warrants against nine policemen, including Pradeep, in the case.
Senior Judicial Magistrate Tamanna Farah issued the arrest warrants against them after taking the case into cognisance on Wednesday.

Inspector of Baharchara Police outpost Liakat Ali, sub-inspectors Nandolal Rakkhit and Tutul, assistant sub-inspector Liton Mia; constables Shafanur Karim, Kamal Hossain, Abdullah AL Mamun, and Mohammad Mostafa were among those accused in the case.
The authorities suspended 21 police officers, including the in-charge of Baharchhara police outpost, in connection with the killing.
On August 4, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina assured Sinha’s mother of a proper investigation into the murder of her son and the trial of the killers, the premier’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said.
