The Swedish Embassy team ended up as the runners-up.
The tournament was organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The event started on January 30 at the state guest house Meghna.
Diplomats from Bhutan, Sweden, Turkey, the European Union, the United Nations and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh participated in the tournament.
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up at the closing and prize-giving ceremony of the tournament on Saturday.
“The Coronavirus pandemic proved that we need to increase mutual cooperation and partnership between all countries and organizations,” Momen said during the ceremony.
Expressing his hope, he said due to the Covid-19, the participating teams were restricted in eight, but there will be more teams in future.
Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen and dean of diplomatic Corps Reverend George Kocherry were present at the ceremony as the special guests.
Along with them, others diplomats, representative of various embassies and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were present.
