A total of 123 Indian nationals who were stuck in Bangladesh amid coronavirus lockdown returned home through the Akhaura Land Port on Friday.
Assistant Sub-Inspector of Akhaura Immigration Morshedul Haque confirmed the matter and said the Indians were stuck in Bangladesh due to ban on international transport due to the lockdown over Covid-19.
Another batch of Indian citizens returned earlier on May 28, and 120 more on Thursday through the Akhaura Land Port, he said.
