The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday filed three cases against the former chairman of Intermediate and Secondary Education Board of Rajshahi and 15 others on charge of embezzling Tk 18.44 lakh.
ACC Assistant Director of Rajshahi Al Amin filed the cases at the district office.
The cases were filed against former chairman Md Abul Kalam Azal, former secretary Dr Anarul Haque of Intermediate and Secondary Education Board and 14 others, he said.
They embezzled the money from different construction and establishment projects of the board, he added.
