ACC Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumer Bhattacharya said a notice signed by ACC Director Mir Mohammad Joynul Abedin Shibly has been issued in this regard.
The summoned traders are JMI Hospital Requisite Manufacturing Ltd’s Chairman Md Abdur Razzak, Toma Construction and Co Ltd’s coordinator (medical team) Md Motiur Rahman, Elan Corporation Ltd’s Chairman Aminul Islam Amin, Meditech Imaging Ltd’s director Md Humayun Kabir and Dhaka Central International Medical College and Hospital’s Chairman, also owner of Lexicon Merchandise and Technocrat Ltd Md Motazzerul Islam Mithu.
Of them, Abdur Razzak, Motiur Rahman and Aminul Islam Amin will have to appear before the ACC Headquarters on July 8 while Humayun Kabir and Motazzerul Islam Mithu on July 9, he said.

ACC has formed a four-member probe committee to investigate allegations of corruption in the purchase of N-95 masks and PPE, he added.
A body was formed, led by director Mir Md Joynul Abedin Shibli, while the other members are Deputy Director Md Nurul Huda, assistant directors Md Saiduzzaman Nandan and Ataur Rahman, said Pranab.
Earlier on April 24, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare also formed a committee to investigate allegation that low-quality products were passed on as N-95 masks to some government hospitals.
