At least two people, including a union parishad (UP) chairman, were injured during a clash between two factions of Awami League (AL) in Bogura's Kahaloo upazila.
Two groups of AL clashed in the uapzila over a provocative slogan while carrying out a procession in trucks to mark the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children's Day.

Narhotro UP Chairman and Union Awami League President Ruhul Amin Talukder Belal and Abdul Aziz, a party activist, were injured in the attack.

Kahaloo Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abmbar Hossain went to the spot and brought the situation under control, local AL activists confirmed.
