Three people, including a woman, were killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a covered van in the city's Uttara area early Thursday.
The deceased, who were all on the motorcycle, were identified as Ajufa, Enamul and Anik.

The accident occurred in the early hours of Thursday when the three were going to see a patient on Motorcycle that collided with the covered van in front of Amir Complex in Uttara, said Uttara West Police Station Inspector Yasin Gazi.
The collision left two passengers of the motorcycle, including the woman, dead on spot and another injured.
Police sent the injured to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where the doctor declared him dead, said Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH police camp.

Efforts are being made to ascertain the deceased's detailed identities, said he.
Among the deceased, Anik's body was kept at DMCH morgue, he added.
